Timeline

We will review applications and interview candidates on a rolling basis through Q1 2027, or when all roles are filled. Updates will be provided as the status of applications change in the recruiting process. Candidates will be matched with teams based on their background and skills.

- Currently enrolled in a full-time Bachelor's degree program.
Preferred qualifications:
- In the penultimate academic year or returning to a bachelor's degree program after completion of the internship.
- Currently attending a bachelor's degree program in the US and available to complete a full-time, consecutive 12-week internship between May and September 2027 (exact dates provided at a later point).
- Excellent people management and organizational skills, with the ability to navigate an ambiguous environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and interest in taking on business problems.
- Interest in the technology industry and Google’s business.

About the program
The Business Undergrad Internship Program is a paid summer internship for undergraduate college students that are interested in working in non-technical career opportunities at Google.
Interns are placed on teams across the company in fields of work within Sales, Marketing and Finance. Their work is core to Google and varies in scope and in length - ranging from the day-to-day core work of a full-time Googler to a single long-term project lasting the duration of the internship. Interns also participate in targeted training and experiences and have the opportunity to take advantage of the learning and development programs and support systems that Google offers. This includes 1:1 mentorship, a unique speaker series with company leadership, custom learning and development sessions, and opportunities to create community.
Role Areas
Business Undergrad interns are placed in teams across the business according to their background and skills. Learn more about our fields of work. Although the teams that we hire for change every year, here are some of the key role profiles that we typically see:
Sales: Turn product innovations into vital client solutions. The backbone of Google’s success, the account managers, consultants and analysts in these roles are all dedicated to top-notch client service. Whether negotiating with Fortune 500 companies, solving technical challenges for small businesses, or surfacing product ads in just the right place, we develop new business opportunities while increasing the use of our product offerings.
Marketing: Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two. At its core, marketing at Google starts with technology and ends with the user, bringing both together in unconventional ways. Our job is to demonstrate how Google's products solve the world's challenges--from the everyday to the epic, from the mundane to the monumental. We approach marketing in a way that only Google can; changing the game, redefining the medium, making the user the priority, ultimately letting the technology speak for itself.
Finance: Fuel our moonshots by devising innovative solutions to complex problems in forecasting, accounting, compliance, and project management. From advising our product teams to managing day-to-day balance sheets, you’ll help keep our business on track to meet (or, better yet, exceed) our goals.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.Responsibilities
