Digital Transformation Manager, Google for Education

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in project or program management, consulting, or customer-facing roles.
  • Experience working within or selling to the educational segment (K-12 or Higher Education), including experience with technology deployments.
  • Experience developing and executing business, adoption, or change-management strategies based on market and engagement analysis.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience with working in the education field (e.g., K-12 or higher education. Showcasing a deep understanding of the Education landscape, including its unique issues and decision-making processes.
  • Experience with Google for Education products (e.g., Google Workspace for Education, Chromebooks with Chrome Education Upgrade, Gemini).
  • Ability to work separately and navigate ambiguity while managing multiple priorities in a changing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive product adoption, user engagement, and customer growth at scale.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, utilizing data to build dashboards, develop perspectives, and formulate recommendations.
  • Excellent investigative, presentation and communication skills.

As a Digital Transformation Manager on the Google for Education team, your primary mission is to guide and orchestrate the digital transformation journey for educational systems, with a focus on our large-scale accounts. You will leverage the suite of Google for Education solutions to empower institutions to modernize and improve their learning environments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop holistic digital transformation roadmaps, outlining scope, objectives, key deliverables, adoption timelines, and success metrics for Google for Education implementations.
  • Assess the unique needs, regulatory frameworks, and educational contexts of priority projects to tailor transformation strategies. Conduct regular virtual and in-person engagements with executive customer leadership.
  • Build and nurture relationships with government/ministry officials, educational leadership, IT directors, regional/local education officials, Google Partners/PD Partners, and internal cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and buy-in.
  • Lead the execution of complex programs, monitoring progress, managing scope evolution, and proactively mitigating risks or roadblocks to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
  • Collect and synthesize feedback from users and stakeholders regarding Google for Education solutions, partnering with Product and GTM teams to drive continuous improvements.
