About the job
As a Senior Consultant within the Mandiant Strategic Services JAPAC team, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior executives and security leaders, helping them systematically measure, build, and mature their cyber resilience. Bridging the gap between business risk and technical defense, you will lead high-impact engagements, including Security Program Assessments, Table-Top Exercises, Threat Modeling, and AI Security Services. Leveraging a various background across at least two domains of cyber security such as security operations, cyber risk management, application security or cloud security, you will proactively prepare clients to mitigate threats and enable secure digital transformation by advising on emerging AI architectures. Utilizing threat intelligence, you will translate complex technical concepts into strategic guidance, uniquely shaping the security posture of the largest enterprises and governments across the JAPAC region.
Responsibilities
- Advise clients on securing the enterprise AI lifecycle, aligning deployments with NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001, and SAIF to govern models and minimize risk. Evaluate AI security via technical threat modeling and secure MLOps, integrating Mandiant’s frontline intelligence to enhance model-driven threat detection.
- Design scalable multi-cloud infrastructure roadmaps for core Cyber Defense Center and SoC technologies. Lead interactive, intelligence-driven table-top workshops for C-suite and technical teams to pressure-test crisis response capabilities.
- Conduct SPAs and CDAs against NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, and ISO 27001 to evaluate existing controls, identify maturity gaps, and build tactical roadmaps.
- Translate business goals into technical requirements, evaluating security controls to prioritize high-impact investments, and complex cyber risks for non-technical stakeholders (CISOs, Board, legal) to enable risk-based decisions.
- Manage client partnerships across JAPAC, overseeing project lifecycles from scoping to high-quality deliverable handoff.
