The YouTube TV & Primetime Channels team’s mission is to transform the way people experience live television, news and sports by building the best-in-class OTT experiences in the market. YouTube TV is a premium Live TV subscription streaming service, enabling consumers to stream live sports, shows, news and premium on-demand content over any device. With YouTube Primetime Channels, you can browse and watch official movies, TV shows, and live content from other streaming services all directly on YouTube. We are looking for an UX Senior Leader to help realize our 5-year direction.

US: $236000 - $330000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement a cohesive user experience direction, strategy and roadmap for YouTube TV and PrimeTime Channels on YouTube.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Connected TV space within Google and YouTube to develop innovative product design concepts and UI patterns that elevate the ability for viewers to discover, consume and participate in media content on YouTube.
  • Identify knowledge gaps and oversee UXR to understand user needs and inform YouTube TV and Primetime Channels strategy.
  • Provide thought leadership to advocate a product design point of view for cross-product partners and executive leadership; set the standard for UX design practice not only as a means to delivering solutions, but as a way of deepening understanding and driving strategic conversations in a complex problem space.
  • Manage design teams supporting with career trajectories.
