Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin fluently to support partners in the Greater China region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 12 years of experience in business development, partner management, or brand partnerships, preferably within the media, advertising, or digital content industry.
  • Experience managing complex, end-to-end partnerships.
  • Experience working autonomously in a dynamic, ever-changing, and collaborative environment.
  • Ability to identify potential business opportunities, assess financial/business benefit, structure agreements, and discuss terms with strategic partners.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, cultivate, and strengthen strategic relationships with key brand deal partners in Greater China, including MCNs, advertising agencies, and top creators.
  • Develop and execute a localized go-to-market strategy to grow the brand deals ecosystem, including creating tailored value propositions, case studies, and sales collateral in Mandarin and English.
  • Identify, recruit, and onboard new high-potential partners to expand our brand deal network. Negotiate and execute complex partnership agreements to generate new business opportunities and drive revenue growth.
  • Serve as a cross-functional leader, working with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Legal, Policy, Comms) to connect partners with global brand and advertising opportunities.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, the competitive landscape, and new opportunities within the brand deals ecosystem in Greater China. Analyze performance metrics to identify growth opportunities and resolve issues for partners in an effective manner.
