About the job

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.

You will lead and manage the YouTube (YT) Creator Large Partnerships Japan team composed of YouTube strategic partner managers. You will work closely with top creators and Creator service provider agencies (Creator Third-Party agencies- C3P) in Japan to chart the path for YT as a preferred platform and ensure they are successful in their goals across viewership, business generation and building community. You will also work closely with cross functional teams to lead GTM across our most critical product launches. For 2026 and 2027 , this will center around accelerating 3P Shopping creator activation, as well as cover other initiatives (e.g. Fan Funding) and manage creator communication baseline product adaption pitches.

As a manager, you will be expected to be leading a strong team of partner managers and support the individual and collective growth of the team, and be a strong representative of this group across internal forums, including surfacing and advocating product feature/GTM requests through building direct relationships with key global/regional GTM and Product stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Architect Go-to-Market strategies ensuring alignment across all internal initiatives, partner touch points, and industry programs within the pod.
  • Translate ecosystem and partner feedback into high-leverage product priorities, actively influencing product roadmaps to unlock new features or requests, as well as developing a strong appreciation for internal product priorities to take to market.
  • Leverage deep domain expertise to identify emerging trends, structure high-value C3P partnerships, and capture new business growth opportunities.
  • Manage and lead the Large Partnership (LP) Creator Japan Team, by managing priorities and resource allocation within the team, as well as providing feedback and guidance to each member to grow in their roles. Take leadership and leverage AI for work optimization, and also bring in a strategic perspective to driving day-to-day work, motivating team members to grow.
