Head of Growth, Integrated and Product Marketing, Public Sector, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 13 years of experience in marketing, working across one or more marketing fields (i.e. growth, product marketing, or integrated marketing).
  • Experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience utilizing AI productivity tools to solve multi-layered problems and streamline business or development workflows.
  • Experience building, managing, and mentoring marketing teams across multiple disciplines (e.g., product marketing, growth, or integrated campaigns).

Preferred qualifications:

  • 7 years of experience managing high-performing marketing teams and mentoring senior marketers.
  • Experience in the US Public Sector (Federal Civilian, DoD/National Security, SLED), including familiarity with government procurement cycles and IT compliance frameworks
  • Experience using pipeline analytics and CRM/BI dashboards (Looker, Salesforce) to drive data-informed decisions.
  • Demonstrated success launching enterprise Cloud, Generative AI, or Cyber Security solutions.
  • Track record of orchestrating large-scale executive conferences, marquee keynotes, and high-visibility brand campaigns.

Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

As a part of the Google Public Sector Marketing, which oversees the marketing strategy for the Google public sector LLC, this team defines and leads the overarching messaging, brand narrative, and product marketing strategy tailored for Federal, State and Local Government, and Higher Education and Research institutions.Know the user. US: $219000 - $305000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic positioning and messaging architecture for Google Public Sector product solutions, translating technical capabilities into compelling, mission-aligned narratives.
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Engineering, and Field Marketing to execute multi-channel GTM campaigns and product launches that build consideration and deliver pipeline targets.
  • Oversee content strategy, customer experience, and executive communications for Tier 1 events like Google Public Sector Summit and Google Cloud Next.
  • Serve as Editor-in-Chief across paid, earned, and owned channels, enforcing brand standards and Marketing Content Review (MCR) governance.
  • Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team while advocating AI agent adoption to modernize workflows and accelerate execution velocity.
