Measurement Specialist, Large Customer Sales (Mandarin, English)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in media analytics, advertising sales, digital media and marketing, consulting, or financial analysis.
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin and English fluently to support the business and clients in the region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with either Digital Marketing Tech (Modern Tagging and Data Infrastructure, Media Effectiveness Measurement, MMM, Cross-Media Measurement, or BI Architecture) or Advanced Analytics (Measurement Experimentation, Data Science or statistical modeling, financial modeling, or statistical analysis).
  • Knowledge of SQL, databases and basic automation techniques (e.g., dashboards, automating custom reports).
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex data structures, technical constraints, and query updates into clear, strategic narratives for executive sponsors.

As a Measurement Specialist, you will lead the measurement and experimentation strategy, using insights to solve business issues and unlock new avenues for growth during a pivotal moment of industry transformation. Working at the intersection of media, technology, and data science, you will partner with our clients to guide their measurement maturity and support their business goals.

You will be a collaborative problem-solver who navigates ambiguity and possesses business acumen. You will build trusted relationships with key decision-makers, including executive leaders across marketing, analytics, and strategy, and seamlessly partner with Google's sales and product teams. By translating datasets into compelling narratives, you will influence critical business decisions and motivate organizational change. With a background in advanced analytics, you will be an expert in demonstrating media value through incrementality, Marketing Mix Models (MMM), attribution, and AI-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the business cycle for prioritized data and measurement opportunities across Google Ads products, driving feature adoption, scaling innovation, and accelerating business growth.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to executive analytics, finance, and marketing decision-makers.
  • Design and implement customized measurement frameworks that map media investments to business outcomes, enabling clients to quantify the ROI of their media investments and long-term brand growth.
  • Apply data science, causal inference, and statistical modeling techniques to design incrementality experiments, optimize MMM data inputs, and help clients navigate changing industry privacy standards.
  • Understand and pitch privacy-durable data foundations for clients by driving the implementation of Google’s tagging infrastructure and modern first-party data solutions to ensure resilient signal capture.
