About the job

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

As an Program Manager on the Search Ads and Ads on Google Experiences (SAGE) Operations team, you will independently manage the full lifecycle of cross-functional business and operational programs that power a 2,000+ person organization. Acting as a team multiplier for SAGE executive leadership and engineering pillars, you will lead core operational rhythms including non-payroll OpEx and resource governance, quarterly prioritization, OKRs, organizational change management, and executive communications. You will combine structured program management with modern GenAI tools and automation to streamline complex processes, surface actionable insights for senior leaders, and balance immediate operational needs with SAGE’s long-term strategic goals.

Google Ads is at the forefront of AI innovation, applying cutting-edge machine learning and Generative AI models like Gemini to power a multi-billion dollar global business.

Our work directly impacts billions of users by protecting users from harm, improving ad quality, and optimizing campaigns for advertiser return-on-investment. • Define and resolve ambiguous cross-functional challenges independently, exercising sound judgment to adjust program levers (timelines, resources, scope, and trade-offs) and balance immediate operational priorities with longer-term organizational objectives.
  • Bridge organizational silos between SAGE pillars and central Ads and Commerce (A&C)/Finance partner teams, proactively managing dependencies and translating top-down mandates into simple, low-friction processes that protect engineering velocity.
  • Drive stakeholder alignment and executive comms by synthesizing financial, resource, and program data into clear, tailored status reports and decision frameworks for leadership.
