About the job
Core AI Foundations organization was created within Core by bringing in engineering teams from across Core Data, Core Developer, Privacy, Safety, and Security, and Cross-Google Engineering. By unifying scale with relentless innovation, AI Foundations organization is charted to ensure our systems are faster, safer, reliable, and efficient. It aims to deliver at the edge of what is possible, meeting today’s demands while engineering the foundations for tomorrow.
As the Principal Product Manager and Horizontal Solutions Lead for AI Foundations, you will play a defining role in Google’s evolution into the agentic era. Operating at a broad product area scope with extreme autonomy, you will lead the strategy, definition, and scaling of unified, cross-pillar product solutions within AI Foundations (spanning Google3, Cloud, DevAI, Analytics, and infrastructure).
In this role, you will serve as the core product management leader enabling initiatives, specifically architecting and optimizing our developer platforms to mange the massive, high-concurrency transactional volumes generated by autonomous AI agents. Unlike traditional developer platforms designed for human-scale velocities, your work will prepare Google’s global infrastructure for an increase in transactional load driven by agentic automation loops. You will lead cross-product area collaborations, align roadmaps across six distinct strategic product pillars, and establish the industry-first playbook for machine-to-machine developer experiences.
The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer. We look across Google’s products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers and strengthen existing systems.
