Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Design, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of customer-facing experience in innovation strategy, design strategy, product management, or management consulting.
- Experience advising enterprise leaders (Vice President/CxO) and leading cross-functional engagements.
- Experience with AI technologies (Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Machine Learning, or AI Agent architectures) and cloud platforms.
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA or Master's degree in Strategic Design, or a related field.
- Experience leading design/innovation firms and tier-1 strategy consulting firms.
- Experience with Google Cloud's AI stack (Gemini, Vertex, GECX), building ROI models and repeatable product frameworks.
- Track record of pattern recognition to transform bespoke customer wins into scalable, industry-wide innovation plays.
- Track record of building product roadmaps, rapid value cases (qualitative and quantitative ROI models), user experience prototypes, and repeatable product frameworks.

As an Innovation and Strategy Lead for Financial Services and Insurance (FSI), you will be the executive leader within the Delta Innovation practice at Google Cloud Consulting. In this role, you will own the FSI industry narrative, originate strategic customer transformations, and architect high-impact innovation strategies for Google Cloud’s most strategic banking, capital markets, and insurance clients.
Operating with a true product-centric mindset—distinguishing scalable product creation from bespoke project delivery—you will master at navigating highly ambiguous environments alongside C-suite (CxO) executives. You will blend industry thought leadership, user-centered design strategy, and deep AI and agentic technology expertise to translate complex business challenges into transformative outcomes. You will partner seamlessly with account leaders, forward-deployed engineering squads, and the broader Google ecosystem to move from abstract ideas to production-grade value creation.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.US: $174000 - $253000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities
- Own the FSI vertical narrative and aim account strategy, establishing holistic innovation programs and executive engagements.
- Partner with leadership to identify and scope high-value opportunities, handing off clear problem statements to technical squads.
- Command the room with CxO executives, navigating complex enterprise power structures to align leadership around cloud strategies.
- Apply deep fluency in AI and agentic technologies to architect solution narratives that demonstrate rapid, high-impact Return on Investment (ROI).
- Drive user-centered design to build scalable, repeatable innovation plays while orchestrating strategic relationships across Google Cloud.
