Field Sales Representative, Financial Services, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in quota-carrying cloud or software sales, or consultative account management at a B2B software company.
  • 10 years of experience with new business generation and customer acquisition.
  • Experience working with customers in the financial services sector (FSI) and banking customers.
  • Experience managing the full sales cycle (e.g., pipeline management, forecasting, reporting).
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish fluently to engage with local customers.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with complex deal structuring, negotiating sophisticated commercial agreements, and supporting multi-year engagements.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and partners in project implementation and negotiation.
  • Experience with consultative selling to executives, asking insightful, visionary questions, presenting future-forward proposals, and building multi-year account strategies and plans.
  • Experience qualifying leads and presenting the value proposition of cloud, data, and AI technologies against customers’ strategic business opportunities and challenges.
  • Experience showcasing current technology trends and Google Cloud differentiators.
  • Demonstrated business and financial acumen (e.g., P&L management, accurate forecasting).

As a Field Sales Representative (FSR), you will serve as a strategic partner to Google Cloud customers in your territory. You will manage the growth strategy for enterprise accounts, engaging customers with consultative value selling methodology. You will drive long-term revenue growth by gaining a deep understanding of our customers' critical challenges and aligning them with Google Cloud's portfolio of solutions.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Spain: €88000 - €90000 (EUR) + 150% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Build and deepen executive relationships with enterprise customers within the financial services sector, and bring to Google your mature high-level relationships to help us grow into new organizations. Influence long-term strategic direction, and serve as a business partner.
  • Negotiate and manage entire complex business cycles, often presenting to C-level executives in corporate and global customers.
  • Lead account strategy in generating and developing business growth opportunities, working collaboratively with customer engineers, and Google partners - all to maximize business results in territory and open up opportunities with large enterprise customers.
  • Understand each customer's technology footprint, strategic growth plans and business drivers, technology strategy and competitive landscape.
  • Drive business development, forecast accurately and achieve strategic goals by leading customers through the entire business cycle.
