Group Product Manager, Firestore Lead

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 5 years of experience taking enterprise database products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc).
  • 5 years of experience developing or launching products or technologies within databases, analytics, big data, or a related area.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
  • 7 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.
  • 7 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., strategic marketing, business operations, consulting).
  • 5 years of experience with distributed systems, databases and cloud technology in engineering or technical product management roles.
  • Experience managing business strategy and execution.
  • Ability to work with senior executives, product leaders, and senior engineering leaders across Google.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $240000 - $334000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of NoSQL and document databases, market trends, and customer requirements to help shape the product strategy. 
  • Interact with customers and partners to understand their key requirements and help define a credible product roadmap.
  • Drive product development collaborating closely with engineering, user-experience design, finance, product operations, marketing, and field teams.
  • Drive positioning, pricing, and go-to-market (GTM) strategy for our launches.
