Googler Experience Operations Specialist, People Experience

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in HR, operations, process improvement, or relevant field.
  • 5 years of experience improving and identifying issues in processes and creating solutions, and working with cross-functional teams to drive these changes.
  • 5 years of experience building relationships with stakeholders or clients.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree.
  • Experience in Human Resource (HR).
  • Experience in resolving and troubleshooting complex or sensitive day-to-day user or customer needs, in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience delivering operational services or making service delivery improvements in a fast-paced environment with many interdependencies.
  • Effective problem-solving, troubleshooting and analytics skills, with a strong operational mindset.

The Googler Experience Operations (GXO) team is the backbone of HR operations, delivering exceptional experiences to our users. This team runs global operations and builds a framework to manage user queries and processes to a standard.

As part of the Googler Experience Operations (GXO) team, you will be responsible for ensuring Googlers receive support for moments that matter at Google. You will be driven to make a difference, enjoy partnering with a wide and ever changing group of stakeholders, and grow in a fast-paced and often ambiguous environment. You will have passion for Google and desire to strengthen the way Googlers experience their work and careers here, and drive Google’s overall business performance.

Whether recruiting the next Googler, refining our core programs, developing talent, or simply looking for ways to inject some more fun into the lives of our Googlers, we bring a data-driven approach that is reinventing the human resources field.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver above and beyond operational excellence, in line with assigned service goals, identifying opportunities to improve and scale in order to elevate operations to an exceptional standard.
  • Resolve and prioritize complex or sensitive user issues through consultation with vendors and deep collaboration with global and regional process owners.
  • Implement and execute on service delivery improvements and new process/scope changes, including vendor activities.
  • Represent the user, surfacing relevant user feedback to process owners. Collaborate on initiatives to address user needs, including consulting on content, process and policy improvements.
  • Develop deep expertise in the systems supporting HR operations service areas, troubleshooting day-to-day issues and consulting with partners on changes to systems infrastructure.
