Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in advertising, marketing technology, management consulting, or product management.
  • 2 years of experience working with Product Management or Engineering teams, executive leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • 2 years of experience developing business strategies or managing cross-functional initiatives.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with agencies and partners.
  • Expertise in the creative development process and the creative ecosystem.
  • Knowledge of Google and YouTube’s ad solutions and value proposition in the market, with a specialization in creative ads products and generative AI.
  • Ability to drive and operate clarity in a fast moving and sometimes ambiguous space and navigate large, complicated organizations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders and influence executive stakeholders and drive results without official authority.
  • Strong problem solving skills, including providing data driven, actionable insights to shape strategy and key decisions.

The YouTube Ads GTM team is the link between YouTube and Google Ads products and business. Our mission is to fuel innovation that keeps YouTube and Google free and accessible to the world. We do this by translating global market needs into meaningful product solutions that drive business results for partners and customers. As part of the team, you'll help to ensure that Google has adopted the right strategy for our products and you'll use your expertise to help front-line Sales partners work their magic quickly and effectively.

The YouTube Ads Experience team in particular plays a vital role in improving the YouTube Ads experience throughout the marketing journey across planning, creating, buying and reporting. This team also empowers the 3P partner ecosystem with YouTube solutions and resources they need to be set up for success across our Ads platforms. With deep expertise in the partner ecosystem, API solutions, media and marketing processes, Generative AI, the complex internal and external creative ecosystem, and our sales organization, this team sits at the nexus of Google and YouTube’s API products, data strategy and sales strategy.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $152000 - $221000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and lead global strategy and commercialization efforts for YouTube Ads API product suite across insights, planning, creative, buying and reporting.
  • Package API solutions and develop market-ready collateral to support API adoption. Build globally scalable programs to advance partner and advertiser adoption.
  • Drive operational excellence via sales and partner enablement initiatives including incentive design and building an API maturity framework within marketing certification programs.
  • Foster a cohesive feedback loop between partner teams and product teams on API services. Own the creation of all relevant sales documentation/collateral/training for the YouTube Ads API portfolio in service of meeting product and partner milestones.
  • Navigate complex and competing stakeholder POVs across regions, sales channels, GPS, Marketing, Product Management, UX and Engineering to drive actionable progress on YouTube Ads API strategy.
