Customer Learning Lead

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in a technical project management or a customer-facing role.
  • 3 years of experience in a training sales, client management, or in a professional services role interfacing with Chief Officer (CxO) levels.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience navigating customer organizational structures, developing and selling services solutions, and ensuring on-time delivery.
  • Experience leading enterprise customers through business or technology transformations with account/project management experience.
  • Experience writing and discussing agreement documents and proposal documents for professional services engagements.
  • Experience with industry-standard financial concepts and metrics.
  • Experience driving customer digital transformations using cloud-based solutions (Infrastructure-as-a-Service/Platform-as-a-Service), as well as managing agreements across engineering, sales, support, professional services, and distributed teams.
  • Understanding of navigating customer organizational structures, developing and selling services solutions, and on-time delivery.

About the job

As a part of the Cloud Learning Services team, you will develop and deliver Google Cloud product and solution training to thousands of customers, resale and technology partners, end-users and developers, and has ambitious plans to quickly grow both the range and reach of the training portfolio.

As a Customer Learning Lead for the Americas region, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, holding executive level relationships, driving sales, forecasting and building and delivering training programs. Your responsibilities will include structuring learning programs and proposals, managing partners, and delivering monthly reviews to internal stakeholders. You will be expected to work with many other internal teams, including teams from the wider training organization such as the training operations team as well as with Pursuit leads, local marketing, sales, professional services and partner teams to drive the success of the business. You will build, foster and manage customer relationships at the executive level.

US: $140000 - $205000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Update existing solution content or create repeatable content (e.g., best practices recommendations, tutorials, blog articles, sample code) and ensure effective documentation of repeatable solutions.
  • Generate partner insights and participate in business reviews to formulate partner strategies.
  • Manage project planning, status reporting, timeline estimation, issue tracking, meeting facilitation, and project documentation.
  • Execute and sustain solutions based on user/partner/client business objectives and technical requirements that have been previously defined, developed, and approved.
  • Identify trends in solution issues across users, partners, and clients and collaborate with internal teams to mitigate risks in the future.
