Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in project or program management, consulting, or customer-facing roles.
  • Experience working within or selling to the educational segment (K-12 or Higher Education), including experience with technology deployments.
  • Experience developing and executing business, adoption, or change-management strategies based on market and engagement analysis.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with artificial intelligence, machine learning, or other transformative technologies.
  • Experience supporting technology adoption and change-management initiatives with customers.
  • Strong understanding of the K-12 and Higher Education sector, including its unique issues and decision-making processes.
  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects separately.
  • Strong thinking, negotiation, and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • A track record of successfully executing go-to-market strategies and meeting or exceeding goals including the ability to drive product adoption, user engagement, and customer growth at scale.

The Education Go-to-Market (GTM) team brings Google’s portfolio of devices (Chromebooks), cloud services (Workspace for Education), and AI tools (Gemini) to K-12 and Higher Education institutions. Our mission is to empower everyone to learn and teach more effectively, securely, and collaboratively.

As a Sales Executive on the Google for Education team, you will drive growth and solution adoption across educational institutions. In this role, you will manage key customer accounts, identify opportunities to deploy Google tools—including Workspace, Chromebooks, and Gemini AI—and partner with institutional leaders to achieve their goals. You will lead end-to-end sales cycles, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and serve as a dedicated advisor supporting daily execution and long-term customer success.

You will be a key player in executing the go-to-market strategy to drive the adoption of Gemini and Google tools. You will manage a defined portfolio of K-12 institutions, Universities and colleges within your territory, acting as their primary point of contact and trusted advisor. You will build ecosystem partnerships in the sector that will aid the Gemini and Workspace expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Manage key accounts and complex territories, lead complex sales cycles and cross-functional projects and will act as a trusted advisor to executive educational leaders, drive complex agreements, and lead cross-functional initiatives to scale adoption.
  • Develop and execute the GTM strategy for Google for Educations product lines (Chrome, Workspace, Gemini). While establishing and maintaining relationships as a trusted C-level advisor with customers.
  • Own the key results for adoption within your assigned accounts, focus on programs that demonstrate quantifiable value including delivering training to support Gemini adoption across users.
  • Identify and engage directly with key stakeholders at the academic institutions and education associations in your territory.
  • Lead cross-functional projects bringing ideas and business objectives together to achieve team goals.
