About the job

Our marketing campaign projects, like our users, span the globe and require managers to keep the big picture in focus. As part of the Global Marketing team, you plan requirements with internal customers and/or external agencies and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. Your projects often span offices, time zones and hemispheres, and it's your job to keep all the players coordinated on the project's progress and deadlines.

In this role, you'll be a key player on the Google Retail Marketing team, driving our consumer and product marketing efforts. Your focus will be on executing GTM-led strategic initiatives that create impactful experiences within Google Retail Marketing, like on the Google Store site.

You will manage programs such as New Product Introductions, seasonal campaigns, and storefront updates. You will provide project management to ensure efficiency and customer experience, and manage Google Retail Producers. Additionally, you will collaborate with Go-To-Market (GTM), Creative, and Product teams to support cross-functional strategies and execution across various channels and markets, facilitating communication, stakeholder engagement, and alignment

You will coordinate and keep our cross-functional and agency teams aligned to deliver on Google Retail objectives. This includes overseeing operations, coordinating creative and cross-functional efforts (e.g., UX/Engineering, Marketing Technology, Localization, Product Marketing Management, and Sales), and advocating for Google Retail experience. Creative agency management is a key aspect of this role. You will support various programs, including NPI-focused areas like Phones + Buds, Watch + Health/Fitbit, Home, and Subscriptions/Services, as well as non-NPI areas. You will oversee business unit programs (e.g., Pixel, Home, Fitbit), manage project resourcing, capacity planning, and project scoping. You will serve as the escalation point for your team and cross-functional team members, identifying issues and providing execution and creative solutions. You will be the point of contact for all launch day communications, including bug triage, escalations, and health tracking, and act as a specialist for all elements of the production process.

Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two. At its core, marketing at Google starts with technology and ends with the user, bringing both together in unconventional ways. Our job is to demonstrate how Google's products solve the world's problems--from the everyday to the epic, from the mundane to the monumental. And we approach marketing in a way that only Google can--changing the game, redefining the medium, making the user the priority, and ultimately, letting the technology speak for itself.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
