Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Quantitative experience in marketing analytics, or a similar role.
- Experience with SQL.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience driving change or optimization in a business context from insights gathered through quantitative analyses.
- Experience of coding for analytics and statistics, for example in Python or R.
- Experience in a Business-to-Business (B2B) Marketing function or agency.
- Ability to present results of complex analysis compellingly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Distinctive problem-solving and analytical skills, combined with effective business judgment.
- Effective strategic and organizational skills.
About the job
You will drive measurement, analysis, and testing initiatives supporting global and regional marketing programs. You will directly analyze large data sets, and design and perform statistical analyses that continuously improve our process efficiency and campaign impact. In collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of marketing, product management, analytics and engineers, you will tap into the underlying data, align on key metrics/methodologies and generate insights that enable marketers to develop valuable, highly effective programs.As a part of this role, you will deliver analytics to drive the Ads Marketing business in EMEA, whether that's helping new customers to grow their business with Google Ads, or inspiring existing customers to reach their goals through new products or campaigns, you will be at the heart of it. In this role, you will act as a subject-matter expert in marketing and data analytics, employ best practices to find opportunities, execute marketing strategies and measure effectiveness and efficiency. As a part of this role, whether it’s paid, owned or earned media, events, or collaboration with internal and external partners, you will ensure our marketing is data-driven and its business impact is clearly measured.Know the user. - Identify and size opportunities to reach new and existing customers.
- Drive data-led marketing execution, delivering cost-effective growth or adoption.
- Communicate recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through presentations, reports, and dashboards.
- Provide independent advice to leadership on how to improve performance and efficiency.
