SMB Channel Sales Manager, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking.
  • Experience in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing projects or programs in a fast paced target driven environment.
  • Experience developing growth initiatives, achieving partner sales goals, and using sales reporting tools.
  • Analytical experience, running experiments, drawing conclusions, and building actionable plans based on data.
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud products.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and executional capabilities, with strong problem solving, attention to detail, and entrepreneurial skill sets.

Google Cloud teams work with schools, companies, and government agencies to make them more productive, mobile and collaborative. You will oversee all aspects of the Google Cloud sales process, improving it with your insightful data analysis, troubleshooting, and seamless cross-functional teamwork. Your strategies ensure that companies new to Google products get the highest quality customer support and that the Google Cloud program overall is kept on the cutting edge.

As a Strategic Channel Manager within the SMB Channel Sales team, your role is to drive Google Workspace, Google Cloud and Gemini Enterprise sales for small/medium businesses by working collaboratively with distribution partners. Working closely with regional partner managers, direct sales teams and other cross functional teams. The objective is to build scalable resell and services motions to drive business outcomes across individual markets.

Partners are critical to the growth, adoption, and scale of Google Cloud products. You are collaborative, creative, and able to drive scale in our partner ecosystem. You have experience selling Cloud solutions or working with technology partners, and understand how to measure and grow SMB business growth. You have the ability to influence senior stakeholders, both internally and within your aligned distribution partners, both directly and at scale, and can support them to build and execute growth initiatives. Your drive, focus, leadership and collaborative nature will be a huge positive contributor to our overall team culture.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with sub-regional channel sales managers, core sales teams and distribution partners to reach as many SMB accounts with our Google Cloud solutions.
  • Own the engagement, overall strategy development and implementation for the distribution channel, working closely with cross functional stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with marketing, customer engineering, programs, operations and product teams to understand the needs of the distribution channel.
  • Develop and drive pipeline, execution and business growth performance for distribution channel in the SMB segment.
