Finance Analyst, Android Commercial Agreements

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function.
  • Experience executing full-cycle FP&A functions including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and modeling within a multinational company setting.
  • Experience using SQL.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to leverage and integrate AI capabilities into core operational workflows to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives tailored for executive leadership and business-facing stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of driving cross-functional alignment and influencing outcomes through data-driven insights and analysis.
  • Established track record of fostering collaboration across various, matrixed stakeholder groups.

Financial Analysts ensure that Google makes sound financial decisions. As a Financial Analyst, your work, whether it's modeling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics, is used by our leaders to make strategic company decisions. Working on multiple projects at a time, you are focused on the details while finding creative ways to take on big picture challenges.

As someone who knows the workings of the core Finance team inside and out, you'll lead individual projects to transform planning, tracking and control processes. You'll provide senior level management with insightful recommendations, planning and reporting support.

In this role, you will work day-to-day with Android business leaders to construct multi-year commercial agreements with some of Android's largest global partners.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design, modeling, execution, and performance tracking of multiple large original equipment manufacturer (OEM) commercial agreements, often spanning Product and Design (P&D), Search, Gemini, Google One (G1), and other Google product teams.
  • Forecast partner-level profit and loss statements (P&Ls) and report back on variances, both in close cycles and at Vice President-plus (VP+) level agreement performance assessment forums alongside Business Development (BD).
  • Help design and model go-to-market (GTM) programs for large American retailers and carriers alongside the Android GTM team.
  • Build easy-to-understand financial models and dynamic dashboards using artificial intelligence (AI) and Google tools, commanding large datasets across cross-functional stakeholders to track key metrics, visualize trends, and provide actionable business insights.
  • Conduct and consolidate measurement analysis, supporting broader team efforts to track partner performance against committed metrics.
