Global Data and AI Strategic Partner Development Manager

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience in business development/customer or partner-facing roles relating to public cloud services.
  • Experience in designing AI and Analytics solutions.
  • Experience working with global system integrators to build GTM offerings in Analytics, AI/ML, and Generative AI, and tracking program outcomes.
  • Experience taking new products and solutions to the market, developing and driving go-to-market (GTM) offerings with partners.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in developing GTM offerings (Analytics, AI/ML, Generative AI) based on industry and regional requirements.
  • Experience in winning/delivering large cloud agreements.
  • Experience in conducting partner executive briefings with an understanding of industry offerings and excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in launching and landing GTM offerings (Analytics, AI/ML, Generative AI) with partners and tracking new business.
  • Familiarity with the Google Gemini platform, Vertex AI, and enterprise GenAI application development (e.g., AI Agents, enterprise search, code modernization).

About the job

As a Global Data and AI Strategic Partner Development Manager, you will facilitate C-level relationships with partners, showcase Google’s technology solutions, guide our partners in developing their service offerings and work closely with Google Cloud solution sales and engineering teams. You will be the primary technical partner liaison, driving the co-creation and adoption of AI solutions on Google Cloud. You will be responsible to elevate our partners' technical capabilities, ensure architectural excellence and accelerate customer value through technical enablement and strategic go-to-market (GTM) execution tailored around the Google Gemini Enterprise.

In this role, you will work closely with a Global System Integration (GSI) partner to develop pipeline, land joint wins and accelerate customer and partner value including accelerating consumption for our joint solution offerings.

You will work with a GSI partner to drive our "GTM strategic priority plays" initiative by leading the go-to-market efforts for AI and Data. You will help define the sales plays and act as a trusted advisor to the partner in the entire journey of identifying new opportunities, developing capabilities, solutions and service offerings, pursuing go-to-market sales plays, landing wins and delivering customer success. You will drive execution of the campaigns in orchestration with partners’ technical, sales and marketing teams.

You will be leveraging your experience in solution building, partner management, strategy and sales, demonstrating your aptitude and passion for working with partners to transform large organizations with Google Cloud technologies.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $224000 - $312000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Help partners grow their business on Google Cloud by driving Data and AI solutions with the aim of serving as their trusted advisor for both pre-sales and post sales customer engagements, anchored on the Google Gemini Enterprise.
  • Bridge the gap between business strategy and technical implementation, engaging in C-level discussions on AI strategy while also leading technical workshops (up to L200).
  • Review and validate partner-developed solution architectures to ensure technical excellence, scalability, security, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to Google Cloud best practices. Provide direct technical guidance to partners on their solutions for performance and consumption.
  • Lead the life-cycle of GTM offering creation from business case, solutioning, planning and governance, business value, solution differentiation, business growth modeling.
  • Support partners to jointly develop GTM offering, landing with the field, and measure success through outcomes.
