Agency Deals Specialist, LATAM (English, Spanish)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in digital media, sales, marketing, or product roles.
  • Experience working with digital organizations.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Spanish fluently to interact with the regional stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience building scalable dashboards, that improve sales team productivity across multiple markets.
  • Understanding of media agencies holding company structures, agency trading economics, upfront negotiations, and principal vs. agent commercial models across Latin America.
  • Understanding of Google’s video and full-funnel advertising solutions (YouTube Select, Masthead, Reservation, Shorts, etc..) and how to position them against social and linear TV competitors.
  • Ability to influence without authority across a complex matrix of local and global teams.
  • Ability to handle complex C-level commercial negotiations, resolve high-stakes pricing/baseline objections, and turning operational complexity into simple, client-centric value propositions.

About the job

As an Agency Deals Specialist in Spanish speaking countries in LatAm (SPLA), you will own the end-to-end commercial strategy, portfolio planning, and financial modeling of Google’s agency incentive programs across Spanish-Speaking Latin America (Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Peru). Operating at the intersection of commercial negotiation, product strategy, and financial governance, you will manage the strategy for a portfolio across the "Big 5" global holding companies (WPP, Omnicom, Publicis, Havas, Dentsu) and key independent agencies.

In this role, you will partner closely with Regional and Local Agency Leads, LCS Account Teams, Global Partnerships and Strategy (GPS/pGTM) and Finance to capture TV/streaming and social video budgets, accelerate first-party/third-party YouTube and Demand Gen adoption, and drive long-term agency capability transformation. You will serve as both the strategic architect of regional Agency agreement structures and represent SPLA in Americas and Global agreement forums.

US: $124000 - $180000 (USD) + 60% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Lead the SPLA Agency agreements strategy across regional markets and holding groups, designing financial frameworks covering baselines, growth targets, IC ratios, and incentive allocations. Represent the region in global governance forums to secure executive approvals and budget shifts.
  • Partner with C-level agency executives and internal sales teams to negotiate high-stakes annual commitments, using mid-year reviews to reallocate resources and mitigate pacing risks. Align agency incentives with product OKRs through behavioral KPIs, Skillshop certifications, and commercial enablement programs.
  • Oversee end-to-end agreement operations across governance platforms, directing contracting, compliance, and fund distributions including YouTube Credits and discretionary incentives. Supervise the agency payout reconciliation lifecycle from finance sign-off to disbursement. Maintain regional BI tracking systems to report pacing and guide recurring strategic reviews with agency stakeholders.
