Strategic Partnerships Development Manager, Devices and Services

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or account management.
  • Experience in hardware, product sales management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in business development, partnerships, or account management with a strong focus on the Telecom industry.
  • Experience managing stakeholder relationships with mobile dealers, telecommunication companies.
  • Experience working collaboratively with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all management levels within the telecom sector.
  • Proven experience managing commercial agreements, strategic partnerships, go-to-market (GTM) plans, negotiating pricing and subsidy models.

In this role, you will lead the end-to-end account management explicitly defining the strategic blueprint for our telecommunication partners and mobile dealers. You will be focusing on driving growth across the telecommunication and mobile dealer networks. You will be responsible for developing channel partnership strategies and executing plans to meet our sales and revenue goals. You will help shape the Pixel Device strategy to build market share in telecommunication and mobile dealers. You will work closely with Marketing, Product, Engineering, Supply Planning, Legal and Strategy Operations teams.The Hardware Partnerships team was formed with the purpose of bringing the best of Google’s software and hardware to our users by bringing to market and distributing a Google-branded hardware portfolio. The team is responsible for managing all partnerships with carriers, retailers and resellers worldwide. This includes the partnerships for products such as Pixel, Google Wifi, Google Nest Thermostat, Chromecast Ultra and Google Home.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end account management explicitly defines the strategic blueprint for our telecommunication partners and mobile dealers.
  • Act as the primary relationship lead for our telecommunication partners and mobile dealers, also act as the main escalation point for critical partner or product tests.
  • Own the full partnership lifecycle with head office to mobile dealers like managing supply, negotiating commercial agreements, Go-To-Market (GTM) launching initiatives, and scaling them to meet the business objectives.
  • Serve as the pivotal link to ensure telecommunication accounts internal Product, Technical, Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams like Android and YouTube, working alongside global stakeholders to design integrated, powerhouse proposals that win over Southeast Asia (SEA) telecom providers and retail dealers.
