Customer Engineer, Google Workspace and Gemini Enterprise (English, Portuguese)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
  • Experience with enterprise productivity and collaboration suites (e.g., Google Workspace) or workflow automation platforms.
  • Experience with Generative AI technologies, AI agents, large language models (LLMs), or machine learning solutions.
  • Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Portuguese fluently to support stakeholders in the region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience architecting or deploying agentic AI solutions, workflow automations, or enterprise data connectors.
  • Experience supporting or selling cloud solutions to enterprise customers across Latin America.
  • Knowledge of agentic frameworks, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering, or enterprise API integrations.
  • Understanding of identity and access management (IAM), mobile device management (MDM), and zero trust security.
  • Ability to effectively influence cross-functionally and articulate the business value of AI-driven workplace transformation to executive stakeholders.

You liaise with the product marketing management and engineering teams to stay on top of industry trends and devise enhancements to Google Cloud products.

As a Customer Engineer, you will partner with the technical Sales team as a Google Workspace subject matter expert to differentiate Google Cloud and our productivity and collaboration solutions to our customers. You will have previous experience in cloud platform and SaaS products, particularly productivity and collaboration tools. You will partner with internal engineering stakeholders to improve products and build solutions, optimizing for results when in production and identifying innovative ways to multiply your impact and the impact of the team as a whole.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify GTM business opportunities, overcome technical objections, and resolve complex blockers across the LATAM region.
  • Deliver executive briefings, lead proof-of-concept (PoC) engagements, and manage Request for Proposal/Request for Information (RFPs/RFIs) to establish trusted advisor relationships with enterprise stakeholders.
  • Architect end-to-end customer solutions, leveraging Google Workspace and Gemini Enterprise to automate complex business workflows.
  • Educate and enable customers and partners on agentic AI capabilities, system integration strategies, and third-party data connector best practices.
  • Drive partner go-to-market strategy, mentor Customer Engineers (CEs) across LATAM, and align with sales leadership to scale regional technical adoption.
