As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

The Data Center Maintenance Planner Program Manager, you will be responsible for the effective execution of planning and scheduling of maintenance work. In order to fulfill these responsibilities in the most effective manner, you will work with the site supervisors and technicians to manage work priority, develop job plans, define parts and materials, define trades and crafts, and engage the proper resources to develop a safe, effective, and efficient plan/schedule. Additionally, you will provide the equipment-related expertise and technical guidance on improving Preventive Maintenance activities and work management processes.

You will be responsible for the use and administration of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) program at a site level.

The Data Center team designs and operates some of the most sophisticated electrical and HVAC systems in the world. We are an upbeat, creative, team-oriented group of engineers committed to building and operating powerful data centers.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $132000 - $189000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Manage the flow of all maintenance work orders by working with Data Center Operations teams and vendors, planning and scheduling resources for maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with facility management in developing and maintaining schedules and resource leveling using the site CMMS program.
  • Establish and maintain CMMS equipment files, parts inventory, equipment bill of materials, and Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules.
  • Manage CMMS and work management processes at the site level for daily data center operations.
  • Utilize comprehensive analytics from CMM data to assist the Facilities Managers (FM) team in their decision-making efforts.
