Analytical Consultant, Digital First

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in media analytics, advertising sales, digital media and marketing, consulting, or financial analysis.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in translating data into business recommendations, creating and delivering appealing insights-based presentations or business cases with clear recommendations and aligned with customers objectives.
  • Experience in data analyses and visualization (e.g., Sheets and Slides), scripting (SQL), Dashboard development (Looker Studio), and leverage AI for analytics.
  • Advertising experience from either the advertiser, agency or other media owner side.
  • Ability to work closely with multiple stakeholder and cross-functional teams and influence key stakeholders (internally and externally) across all levels.
  • Ability to communicate in German fluently as this is a client facing role.

The Large Customer Sales (LCS) team partners closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird's-eye view of market shifts, such as the emergence of AI-powered solutions and evolving digital consumer behaviors. We advise advertisers on Google's broad range of ad products across Search and YouTube to help them seamlessly with their audiences and grow efficiently through advertising on Google.

Digital First, a sector within German LCS, is home to a variety of customers from travel and media and entertainment to digital natives like marketplaces, aggregators, and comparison websites. Our mission is to drive the sustainable growth of our customers through innovation and a customer-first mindset.

The Insights and Analytics team within Digital First empowers customers to achieve their strategic goals. Combining strong business acumen with analytical and storytelling skills, the team partners with internal and external stakeholders to navigate market transformations. By leveraging Google's proprietary search data and external market intelligence, the team delivers actionable insights that foster mutual growth for our customers and Google.

Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams are strategic partners and industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. We continuously challenge how customers think about their business and how Google can support growth. We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Germany: €98000 - €100000 (EUR) + 40% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Conduct bespoke analyses for high-priority customers to uncover opportunities to optimize their online advertising return on investment (ROI) and drive business growth.
  • Translate complex data into compelling narratives and actionable recommendations to influence client strategies and align with their business objectives.
  • Streamline processes and leverage AI tools to deliver insights at scale, efficiently.
  • Empower internal teams and clients by promoting data fluency, scaling self-service dashboards, and delivering training on data-driven decision making.
  • Partner with teams internally (e.g., measurement, media effectiveness, sales) to drive successful outcomes for clients advertising spend.
