Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
- 3 years of experience developing or launching products or technologies within one or more of the following: Cloud, SaaS, enterprise, internal tools, or supply chain networks.
- 3 years of experience with relational databases, database management and database performance.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in building a database service.
- Experience managing business strategy and execution.
- Understanding of infrastructure, high availability architecture and database performance.
- Ability to effectively work with senior executives, product leaders, and senior engineering leaders.

We are looking for a passionate product management leader to shape the future of Infra Spanner. This strategic role will drive the direction and execution for the Spanner internal customers and enable them to build and scale next-generation agentic applications.
As the Product Manager for Infra Spanner platform, you will be responsible for defining the strategy and ensuring the execution of platform capabilities that incorporate the latest advancements in compute and storage and delivering exceptional performance, scale and high availability. In this role, you will advocate the enterprise-wide adoption of Spanner's core capabilities, establishing Spanner as the definitive database foundation for high-scale, complex agentic workloads.
US: $192000 - $278000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities
- Define the road map for Infra Spanner Platform, focusing on setting the road map for Google Internal Product Areas.
- Lead the product development life cycle from discovery to GA. Write product requirements documents, prioritize backlogs, and work closely with Engineering to ship high-scale, reliable streaming features.
- Partner with customers to understand their pain points.
- Collaborate with teams across Google (Search, Ads, Core, Photos, Workspace, Deepmind, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) etc) to ensure that capabilities meet the need of broader organization.
- Identify emerging trends in "agentic AI" and how databases can power the next generation workloads.
