Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in Go-to-Market Strategy, Sales Operations, Strategy and Operations, Management Consulting, Finance, or Program Management.
  • Experience with core business operations (e.g., annual business planning, headcount management, running business reviews, or target setting).
  • Experience working with executive-level clients or stakeholders.
  • Experience using SQL and spreadsheets to analyze data and deliver insights to business stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or advanced degree with go-to-market experience in enterprise technology, SaaS, or Cloud computing.
  • Experience using analytical skills (e.g., financial modeling, SQL, Looker) to solve problems, influence leadership, and evolve recommendations.
  • Experience tailoring and delivering compelling reporting and presentations by audience, asking strategic questions, and leading conversations that drive results and efficiencies.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and influencing without authority to drive operational excellence, successful delivery of priority initiatives, process improvements, and change management.
  • Familiarity with leveraging AI-assisted tools, prompt design, and workflow automations to drive analytical efficiency.

The Google Cloud Go-to-Market Strategy and Operations team acts as trusted advisors, partnering with Sales, Customer Engineering, Finance, Marketing, Partners and Google Cloud Consulting to plan, strategize, and run the business in a transformational way.

As a Strategy and Operations Lead for the Performance, Analytics and Cloud Excellence (PACE) organization. You will be responsible for defining, landing and executing on our key strategic priorities to drive operational excellence, business growth, and productivity. You will be responsible for helping with planning, goal setting, territory design, expansion plans and managing the rhythm of the business activities. You will provide business insights, ensure cross-functional alignment, drive strategic partnerships, and execute new initiatives. The organization's goal is to align company priorities with day-to-day operations and evolve early-stage ideas into future growth initiatives.

US: $152000 - $221000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Influence executive-level decision-making around core business decisions, such as prioritization of growth opportunities, through scalable and actionable analytical insights to increase productivity.
  • Be a trusted advisor to your organization and their leadership team, communicating, structuring, and problem solving complex and ambiguous business challenges and supporting organization priorities.
  • Run and improve operations by launching new programs, goal setting, streamlining processes, automating tasks, identifying opportunities across the business, and optimizing resource allocation.
  • Organize the design and implementation of business cadence to deliver effective operations and achieve key milestones.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries to extract insights from massive datasets, execute rigorous data validation (QA), and develop intuitive, automated dashboards to monitor organizational health.
