Product Manager I, Ads Sellside Apps

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 1 year of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc).
  • Experience in data analysis, product strategy, or policy analysis.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.
  • 2 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership.
  • Experience in mobile business generation, Supply-Side Platforms (SSPs), mediation, or programmatic bidding.
  • Experience engaging directly with app developers and partnering with Go-to-Market teams to drive product adoption.

As a Product Manager in the Sellside App Network team, you will evolve targeting and recommendation systems using advanced AI solutions and Large Language Model (LLM) classification insights. You will architect engaging user journeys and discovery frameworks that power the next generation of digital experiences. Operating at the forefront of Google’s integration of AI technologies into the advertising business, you will have an opportunity to shape the mobile app ecosystem. You will develop a next-generation business generation platform that empowers Android and iOS developer-creators, capitalizing on rapid industry shifts toward generative AI, intelligent coding assistants, and natural-language vibe coding pipelines. With your deep product expertise, you will blend AI innovation with scalable business impact.

Our teams create trusted experiences between people and businesses with useful ads. We help grow businesses of all sizes from small businesses, to large brands, to YouTube creators, with effective advertiser tools that deliver measurable results. We also enable Google to engage with customers at scale.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $138000 - $198000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Architect an AI-driven strategy to ingest and synthesize complex contextual data across the app ecosystem and partner with DeepMind to deploy deep learning pipelines.
  • Lead the AdMob first-party data ecosystem using AI-augmented user surveys and analytics to capture user attribute, interest, and intent data at scale.
  • Partner with buyer teams to discover signals, utilizing predictive ML models to dynamically interpolate and scale high-fidelity user insights across emerging inventory.
  • Establish advanced quality benchmarks using LLMs to automate semantic analysis and classify inventory insights at scale.
  • Partner with buyers using algorithmic matchmaking to connect them with optimal inventory, ensuring sustainable, long-term business growth for publishers.
