Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program management, project coordination, or a related operational role.
  • 2 years of experience tracking project milestones, deliverables, and managing timelines.
  • 2 years of experience with documentation and process adherence.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 4 years of experience in program management within a technical or compliance-related domain.
  • Experience working on cross-functional projects in a global or matrixed organization.
  • Familiarity with program management methodologies and tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify process inefficiencies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

As a Program Manager for Program Governance and Program Management Office (PMO), you will act as a tactical execution engine, driving the implementation of core business programs related to compliance, assurance, and risk management. Your primary responsibility is to ensure efficient operational delivery of global methodologies and to enforce established cross-functional program requirements across all regions. You will achieve this by meticulously tracking and monitoring key functional methodologies and milestones, managing escalations, and ensuring adherence to program standards.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $132000 - $189000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Track and manage the implementation of complex, cross-functional compliance, risk and assurance programs ensuring milestones and deliverables are met on time, and escalations are appropriately managed.
  • Partner closely with the Functional Programs Lead to project-manage the rollout of methodology updates, tracking execution and holding regional and central authors accountable for providing deliverables and updates on time to prevent documentation drift.
  • Provide structural project management support to the Integration Lead and Technical Lead for complex, multi-region operational deployments, intake routing, and crisis remediation plans.
  • Track and iteratively improve program delivery and efficiency highlighting opportunities for improvement and working with regional and functional leads to approve process improvement opportunities.
  • Enforce documentation and run the business requirements across core tools and platforms.
