Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
  • 3 years of experience with iOS application development.
  • 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with large-scale application design and architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
  • 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
  • Experience developing accessible technologies.
  • Experience with Flutter and Dart.
  • Experience with Gen AI and AI Chatbots.

The team shipped the mobile application for the fastest growing product in the history of Google Cloud and did it faster than anyone thought was possible. We aim to become the primary surface for the enterprise workers to use Gen AI to automate their workflows and drive enormous productivity gains, even when they are on the go.

The Google Cloud AI Research team addresses AI challenges motivated by Google Cloud’s mission of bringing AI to tech, healthcare, finance, retail and many other industries. We work on a range of unique problems focused on research topics that maximize scientific and real-world impact, aiming to push the state-of-the-art in AI and share findings with the broader research community. We also collaborate with product teams to bring innovations to real-world impact that benefits our customers.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $174000 - $252000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Build and own end-to-end applications that address horizontal use cases spanning multiple industries.
  • Integrate Google technology working at multiple levels of stack from the APIs to frontend.
  • Address the needs of enterprises and their employees, the end users of the mobile application.
  • Build reusable components to be used in the development of vertical-specific UI.
  • Build customer and partner focused experiences to scale usage/adoption.
