Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience in business development, partnerships, sales, marketing, or related commercial field.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 15 years of experience in sales/marketing delivering success through influence at scale internally/externally with customers/partners.
  • Experience in coaching sales managers/sellers, and leading an organization through direct report.
  • Experience presenting to clients/stakeholders, and collaborating in various cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in relevant industries such as media/technology sales, agency, or client side sales leadership.
  • Knowledge of Google’s advertising products and services, as well as the competitive landscape in which they operate.
  • Ability to communicate in a SEAS language (i.e., Mandarin, Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian) fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.

The mission of the Global Partnership Sellside Monetization team is to fund the world's information by enabling digital platforms, properties and content creators. We maximize the revenue publishers get from their ad inventory, and connect them to demand in a way that is safe for users and advertisers. We foster sustainable partnerships that deliver economic value to key partners and Google, while protecting our shared ecosystem and Google’s reputation.

As a Head of South East Asia (SEAS) Partnerships, you will represent a critical next step for our mission to help businesses in the region grow. You will be instrumental in expanding our local footprint and leading a team to drive significant growth. You will have an opportunity to shape our presence in a dynamic new market and contribute directly to our regional success.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the SEAS team, fostering a high-performance culture focused on achieving business objectives and professional growth.
  • Develop and implement the country-specific growth plan for SEAS, driving business expansion and increasing market share in the apps and gaming sectors.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key apps and gaming partners, ensuring their success and aligning their growth with SellSide’s strategic goals.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for SellSide teams, collaborating with cross-functional leads to build a local ecosystem and execute strategic initiatives.
  • Act as the SEAS apps leader, ensuring smooth, efficient, and localized execution of business strategies.
