Field Sales Representative, Edtechs and Education, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of sales experience in the technology industry with SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS products and platforms.
  • Experience in direct client sales/management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in the education and edtech segments working with accounts.
  • Experience with customer and relationship management, and with technology-using platforms.
  • Ability to work towards strategic business goals in a fluid environment.
  • Ability to engage with student, facilities, HoDs, as well as C-level IT and business leaders.

As a Field Sales Representative - Education, you will advocate for the Cloud Platform, promoting technology for business innovation. You will introduce Google Cloud Platform, Google Workspace, Gemini Enterprise and Google for Education solutions to customers and accounts, drive awareness in the developer and student community, and leverage and build the Google Cloud Platform partner ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Build and develop executive relationships with Promoters, Directors, Vice Chancellors etc in Education and Founders, CXOs, etc. in Edtechs, and help Google grow into organizations. Influence long-term strategic direction, and serve as a business partner.
  • Facilitate and manage the business cycle, and present to C-level executives in Edtechs and Education customers.
  • Lead account strategy in generating and developing business growth opportunities, work collaboratively with Customer Engineers, Sales Specialists and Google partners to maximize business results in territory and discover opportunities with enterprise customers. 
  • Understand each customer’s technology footprint, strategic growth plans, business drivers, and technology strategy.
  • Drive business development, forecast accurately, and achieve strategic goals by leading customers through the entire business cycle.
