As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

As a Technical Program Manager on Search Ecosystem, you will be responsible for driving the end-to-end engineering execution of this data product with the goal of turning data into a transparent, actionable layer of intelligence. You will play a pivotal role in leading and scaling this strategically important and innovative new project. You will manage the program's lifecycle, navigate ambiguity, and exercise independent judgment to ensure we meet ambitious goals.

This role involves close collaboration with a distributed engineering team globally and requires a strong ability to influence and align cross-functional stakeholders across various organizations. You will be instrumental in launching and iterating on a zero-to-one product with significant impact on Google's AI capabilities and end user experiences.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $163000 - $236000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Partner extensively with Product, Engineering and Partnerships teams define program strategy, scope, roadmaps, and success metrics.
  • Lead, manage, and drive the execution of complex, cross-functional work streams, ensuring timely delivery of program milestones and objectives.
  • Drive program-level decision-making, unblock technical and operational challenges, and proactively manage risks and dependencies across multiple teams and organizations.
  • Communicate program status, risks, strategies, and impact effectively to a wide range of audiences, from technical teams to executive leadership.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance program efficiency and effectiveness.
