Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in product marketing, partner marketing, content marketing, or digital merchandising within e-commerce, digital media, or mobile app/gaming ecosystems.
- Experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects
Preferred qualifications:
- Familiarity with leveraging AI tools and automated workflows for content creation, localization scaling, and operational efficiency.
- Knowledge of the gaming industry, mobile games ecosystem, business generation models, and player behavior patterns across global markets.
- Ability to develop and polish compelling content narratives that support key moments and initiatives.
- Ability to interpret campaign performance data, perform ecosystem analyses, and derive insights to optimize campaign Return on Investment (ROI) and user conversion.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience crafting compelling narratives for leadership, partner-facing communications, and consumer audiences.

As a Global Promotional Campaigns Manager, you will shape and execute end-to-end global promotional campaigns and editorial merchandising strategies for Google Play Games. Working at the intersection of gaming ecosystem trends, user engagement, and partner growth, you will partner closely across PCO (Play Consumer Operations) teams and EPU (Engineering, Product, UX) to deliver high-impact campaigns that drive consumer spend, maximize user engagement, and accelerate developer success globally.
Google Play offers music, movies, books, apps and games for devices, powered by the cloud. It syncs across devices and on the web. As part of the Android and Mobile team, Googlers working on Google Play do everything from engineering our backend systems, to shaping product strategy, to forming great content partnerships. They make it possible for people to do things like buy an ebook or song on their Android phone, then have it instantly available on their laptop. The Google Play team enhances the Android ecosystem by giving developers and partners a premium store where they can reach millions of users.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.US: $116000 - $166000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and scale multi-channel global promotional campaigns and lifecycle moments to maximize player acquisition and business.
- Partner closely with Editorial, Merchandising, and Product teams to align campaign-calendars, store-placement, and in-app editorial-storytelling with core product features and global promotional objectives.
- Leverage AI-driven workflows and content tools to scale campaign outreach, editorial framing, and promotional messaging globally.
- Drive user-engagement by promoting first-party and third-party content-programs, loyalty initiatives, and featured store moments. Monitor campaign performance, track conversion, engagement metrics, and iterate strategies to ensure success for Play gamers and developer partners.
- Synthesize complex campaign metrics into actionable insights for cross-functional leads and directors. Conduct analyses of user-behaviors, regional gaming-trends, and competitive landscapes to inform promotional strategy and merchandising decisions.
