Technical Program Manager II, Cloud Supply Chain Services

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in management consulting, operations management, supply chain, or an engineering role.
  • 5 years of experience in leadership role with/without direct reports.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree in a related field.
  • 5 years of experience performing Business Intelligence or Data Analytics, levering SQL and data visualization tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple engaging projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging to both technical and non-technical audiences.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.

Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage various Engineering-specific programs and teams.

In this role, you will support the central management and reporting function for Cloud Supply Chain Services (CSCS), tasked with translating strategic objectives into operational readiness, managing cross-functional dependencies, and representing CSCS in key partner and product initiatives. You will require exceptional skill in data-driven strategy development, foundational program governance, and sophisticated stakeholder management to ensure clarity, predictability, and success across key initiatives.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $192000 - $278000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic problem solving; problem statement definition, forming hypotheses, conducting research, analyzing data and modeling to deliver recommendations that deliver impact.
  • Identify and implement process and tooling improvements to optimize costs, inventory, and service levels across operations and NPI. Collaborate with operations, business, and engineering teams to lead continuous improvement projects.
  • Establish and manage program governance structure, including roles, responsibilities, reporting cadence, and decision-making processes.
  • Facilitate critical planning cycles (demand signaling, execution orchestration, supply planning).
  • Collaborate and influence across multiple levels of an organization, leading cross-functional process and system improvements.
