Data Transformation Lead, Travel

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in media analytics, advertising sales, digital media and marketing, consulting, or financial analysis.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience with marketing measurement and attribution techniques (e.g., offline measurement, MMM, MTA, attribution) and Google advertising products (e.g., Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Marketing Platform, etc.).
  • 1 year of client-facing experience, with a track record of influencing across levels.
  • Knowledge of SQL, databases, and basic automation techniques (e.g., dashboards, automating custom reports, materializing tables).
  • Ability to analyze large datasets and distill them into actionable insights that are presented in a logical and compelling story.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with comfort delivering simple and compelling stories to audiences of all levels.

As one of the masterminds behind our strategic planning, forecasting and analysis, you’ll spend your time digging into big, complex data sets. The data will not remain inert in your hands, however, since you’ll use your critical thinking, problem solving and communication skills to influence and drive thoughtful and well-informed decision making with our most senior business leaders within the organization, and potentially some of our biggest clients.

Our Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams partner closely with many big advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video, and display to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

The Data, Measurement, and Analytics team partners alongside LCS sellers to help solve complex problems as trusted data, measurement, and analytics advisors to influence business decisions and prove Google’s value through data and infrastructure expertise.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $108000 - $155000 (USD) + 40% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Establish oneself as a trusted advisor and technical product seller who understands how durable measurement infrastructure strategy will help customers overcome industry and ecosystem challenges. Articulate deep product knowledge to support customer business objectives.
  • Identify, cultivate, and own MarTech Relationships within advertisers and agencies. Develop executive business partnerships with strategic customers and internal cross-functional teams.
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Product/Technical specialists, and Google partners to synthesize technical and strategic business requirements into cohesive business cases.
  • Own the business cycle for key data and measurement capabilities and tech infrastructure to drive customer adoption and growth of Google’s solutions.
  • Sell and triage handoffs for implementation, acting as a liaison between key partner teams (e.g., Google partner teams and third-party external partners) to ensure project completion and on-going value is delivered.
