Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in a management consulting, sales operations, business strategy or corporate advisory role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA, Master's degree, or equivalent practical experience in a technical, quantitative, or business field.
  • 2 years of experience creating complex data sets, data modeling, and reporting.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or a digital media environment.
  • Experience in organizational design and translating operating model strategy to execution in an Internet, e-commerce, or technology business.
  • Distinctive problem-solving and investigative skills with demonstrated ability to partner across multiple functions in an organization.

The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

The Global Business Strategy and Operations (GBS&O) team is responsible for providing insightful review, perspective, and direction on the strategy and operating performance of Google’s Global Business Organization (GBO). Our mission is to architect and accelerate the transformation of our Global Business Organization (GBO) and partners across Ads. The function comprises critical strategic and operational teams that accelerate Google’s performance.

The Strategy and Planning team provides insightful review, perspective, and direction on the strategy and operating performance of Google’s online advertising sales business. We are a central team that engages on and leads priority activities that impact multiple areas of Google’s business across a range of topics. In this role, you will be involved and responsible for shaping, managing, and executing projects or workstreams with our stakeholders, analyzing its results, and presenting the key insights to executive leaders.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $124000 - $177000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Lead and contribute to complex and time-critical projects for executive leaders by quickly understanding context and developing a prioritized scope and approach for resolution in ambiguous situations.
  • Analyze and determine key insights by crossing research results with key business drivers, trends, and operating metrics.
  • Execute quantitative analyses and modeling that translates data into actionable insights.
  • Communicate findings to executive leadership by preparing polished presentations and identifying key takeaways.
  • Act as a part of larger corporate initiatives both on an on-going basis and on an ad-hoc basis while collaborating with global stakeholders.
