Global Business Solutions Consultant, International Growth (Mandarin, English)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in technology sales or working with customers in a sales role.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin fluently as this role involves working with China based businesses and clients.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience leading complex conversations with C-level stakeholders to build trust and influence decision-making.
  • Experience in applying Artificial Intelligence to improve client pain points, sales and consultancy processes, or business operations.
  • Expertise in UI/UX, Localization, or Pricing and Monetization domains. Experience in improving client profitability and conversion rate leveraging any of these expertise.
  • Ability to develop an in-depth understanding of client businesses and industry dynamics, and to build solutions that address those specific opportunities.
  • Excellent business acumen, problem solving skills, and the ability to develop business plans and deliver results consistently.

The Global Business Strategy (GBS) team helps make Google's complex business organization run smoothly. The group drives core planning activities and develops frameworks to integrate global business strategies across the Sales, Marketing, and Partnerships organizations. Experts in both Google’s go to market organization and the industries where we compete, they drive strategic and operational improvements while working closely with Senior Leadership on a range of critical initiatives and projects. The GBS team is at the forefront of addressing the Business organization’s most strategic priorities, reporting and working directly for Google's Chief Business Officer.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Strategic C-level engagement and act as a trusted commercial advisor to C-level executives and senior stakeholders, diagnosing complex business challenges and translating them into actionable international growth strategies.
  • Design, pitch, and land high-impact solutions of UI/UX, localization, or pricing/monetization for major international customers, directly linking operational improvements to increased conversion rates, ROAS, and overall business profitability.
  • Develop, test, and scale strategies to leverage AI in solving client pain points or improving internal work efficiency. Build scalable solutions that address market opportunities, prove tangible business impact, and scale the impact of the Global Business Solutions (GBS).
  • Work with Google sales teams and global cross-functional partners to integrate GBS solutions into their business priorities and strategies, execute and pivot, and build lighthouse client success cases.
