Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in program or project management.
  • 7 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Program Management certification or experience in Program Management with a technology company.
  • Experience in stakeholder management.
  • Familiarity with scaling operations and human capital through automated, agentic workflows.
  • Ability to implement independent governance models and metric-driven accountability frameworks.
  • Ability to manage horizontal support teams spanning Objectives and Key Results (OKR) tracking, centralized communications, and requirement mapping.

About the job

Following our transition to a high-velocity architecture optimized to Build, Disseminate, and Take Action, the Threat Operations team is seeking a leader to run our Threat Operations Support team to support our high-velocity architecture optimized to build, deliver, and impact. As the Head of Threat Operations Support (TOS), you will lead the function that serves as the critical "horizontal glue" and operating system enabling our entire intelligence life-cycle to function at speed.

In this role, you will act as the primary advisor to the Threat Operations Director, leading a lean Hub-and-Spoke model to centralize strategy, because TOS is structured as a horizontal governance layer rather than a vertical mission unit, your mandate is to maintain absolute independence and objective accountability across our three core mission umbrellas. You will mitigate production blockers and align priorities, fulfill triple-tier growth mandate, advancing individual tradecraft, strengthening team dynamics, and scaling global impact.Part of Google Cloud, Mandiant is a recognized leader in dynamic cyber defense, threat intelligence and incident response services. Mandiant's cybersecurity expertise has earned the trust of security professionals and company executives around the world. US: $164000 - $240000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Manage an overview of project goals and deliverables presented on a timeline and use the roadmap to manage stakeholder expectations, and to communicate plans and coordinate resources.
  • Collaborate with team members or stakeholders to understand or identify work problems and program goals, obtain prioritized deliverables, and discuss program impact.
  • Complete (e.g., schedule, resource, technical) risk identification and risk assessment activities and mitigation plans in addition to monitoring foreseeable risk, and recording its evolution and influence on project/program objectives.
  • Establish and track processes in collaboration with stakeholders, hold stakeholders/teams accountable for following the established processes, identify sponsors and stakeholders and secure resources, ensure work alignment with compliance/privacy policies, identify opportunities, implement process improvements, and support/promote the adoption of processes.
