Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.
  • Experience in Python, Go, or other modern backend languages.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or Applied Science, or a related field.
  • 8 years of experience managing projects and working with analytics, software coding, or customer-side web technologies.
  • Experience with front-end web development using Angular, TypeScript, or similar frameworks.
  • Experience with SQL and building or maintaining data pipelines.
  • Experience working with production infrastructure, cluster management systems, or development frameworks.
  • Experience integrating Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence models (e.g., LLMs) into applications.

About the job

As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for the technical relationship of our largest advertising clients and/or product partners. You will lead cross-functional teams in Engineering, Sales and Product Management to leverage emerging technologies for our external clients/partners. From concept design and testing to data analysis and support, you will oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's online advertising platforms and/or product partnerships.

You will be able to balance business and partner needs with technical constraints, develop innovative, cutting edge solutions and act as a partner and consultant to those you are working with. You will also be able to build tools and automate products, oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's partnerships, as well as develop product strategy and prioritize projects and resources.

As a member of GSRS, you will help develop a culture where safety, security and resiliency are integrated into every facet of Google, including the creative process. You will help us continually identify, evaluate and monitor enterprise risks that could affect business activities and provide business leaders the information they need to make critical decisions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative strategies and develop exceptional programs that drive sustainable effectiveness.

In this role, you will lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable applications and data pipelines that mitigate physical security threats at scale. You will act as a key technical contributor, seamlessly bridging frontend user interfaces with robust backend infrastructure while integrating AI/LLM solutions to drive automation.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $152000 - $221000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee robust full-stack applications and APIs, ensuring seamless integration with core infrastructure, internal tools, and legacy systems.
  • Deliver and manage production-grade data workflows that process critical information to assess, detect, and mitigate physical security threats at scale.
  • Partner with security analysts, intelligence experts, and cross-organization decision-makers to identify automation opportunities and define requirements for threat detection tools.
  • Build, test, and optimize production workflows leveraging AI/LLM outputs to drive operational efficiency and enhance user-facing applications.
  • Evaluate application performance and model outputs to measure ROI while providing technical support that complies with privacy, security, and legal standards.
