Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, business development, go-to-market strategy, or digital marketing.
  • Experience identifying and partnering in brand and advertising agreements.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 8 years of experience in strategic GTM or commercial strategy within search advertising, e-commerce, or digital platforms.
  • Knowledge of search business generation and automated commerce workflows, translating partner needs into product feedback.
  • Ability to establish GTM infrastructure, setting KPIs, and scaling product adoption across complex partner networks.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable commercial narratives for agency partners and cross-functional teams.
  • Proven record managing HoldCos or performance agencies, with deep knowledge of media planning and operational models.
  • Excellent investigative skills with a pragmatic approach to driving business growth in evolving tech landscapes.

About the job

This team is responsible for setting third-party (3P) Partners and Agency go-to-market (GTM) strategy, shaping priorities and resources to accelerate business growth, and commercializing the next generation of Ads products.

We represent the third-party ecosystem to advocate for product requirements and ensure teams are equipped to drive customer growth, product adoption, and business health at scale. This team plays an important role in building excellent go-to-market infrastructure from tooling to enhancing GBOers' business skills to ensuring flawless execution and operations against desired business outcomes and priorities.

The primary objective of this role is to build the go-to-market infrastructure that enables agencies and third-party ecosystem partners to capture the full value of AI-powered Search and agentic commerce.

In this role, you will be responsible for shaping commercial priorities, driving the market readiness and adoption of next-generation autonomous shopping solutions, and establishing scalable operating models across HoldCos, performance agencies, and the like.

You will possess strong commercial acumen, deep analytical excellence, and the ability to lead complex, cross-functional programs at the intersection of AI, search intent, and transaction infrastructure. You will thrive in this role if you are energized by translating emerging agentic technology into clear commercial playbooks, lead partner enablement, and can pragmatically equip the external ecosystem to operationalize new buying behaviors at scale. You will accelerate the evolution of search into an active, machine-assisted commerce ecosystem by delivering flawless operational execution and measurable business outcomes.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the essential GTM strategy to drive the adoption and continuous scaling of AI powered Search and agentic commerce solutions across agency partners and third-party platforms.
  • Partner closely with HoldCos, independent performance agencies, commerce platforms, and SaaS intermediaries to effectively operationalize next generation search and highly innovative agentic buying workflows.
  • Serve as the strategic bridge between external partners and internal Product and Engineering teams to identify market friction, product gaps, and lucrative commercial opportunities.
  • Identify, prioritize, and dynamically scale partnerships across the third-party commerce ecosystem, structuring robust joint initiatives and impactful incentive models that motivate intermediaries to build around the infrastructure.
  • Serve as an AI Search expert to comprehensively upskill internal sales teams and guide agency leadership, ensuring flawless execution by developing strong relationships with all key external and internal stakeholders.
