Senior Product Manager, Google Cloud Business Platform

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
  • 3 years of experience developing or launching infrastructure products or technologies within networking, storage, compute hardware, databases, file systems, data analytics, cluster management, and other software infrastructure areas.
  • 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing intricate product backlogs and consistently delivering high-caliber solutions.
  • Expertise in Salesforce CPQ and associated first-party enterprise applications, including gCLM and product configurators.
  • Knowledge of financial controls and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance frameworks.
  • Ability to operate effectively within high-velocity, dynamic organizational environments.
  • Exceptional communication, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic stakeholder-influencing capabilities.

We are seeking a professional to oversee the strategic advancement, compliance, and operational stability of our contract lifecycle management (CLM) platform, ensuring seamless integration with quoting and approval solutions within the Opportunity to Contracting (OTC) domain. This platform serves as a foundational component supporting sellers and partners in driving the Google Cloud business.

Responsibilities

  • Harness over a decade of domain expertise in quoting, approval engine architecture, and contracting within a major cloud enterprise to guide product strategy.
  • Serve as a principal subject matter expert regarding quoting and contracting workflows, particularly across subscription, infrastructure, and platform solutions.
  • Direct the development of a next-generation quoting platform leveraging Generative AI to rapidly generate comprehensive and precise proposals by synthesizing customer requests, product specifications, and pricing frameworks.
  • Architect an advanced recommendation engine to evaluate customer telemetry and deliver targeted product and service offerings, driving promotion and cross-sell engagement to maximize agreement value.
  • Partner extensively with Engineering, Sales, Finance, Legal, and key stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment and successful product delivery.
