Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience in customer relationship development, working with digital media or digital marketing/advertising solutions.
  • 8 years of experience leading, mentoring, and developing teams.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in building relationships with senior stakeholders in a matrixed organization along with excellent communication/presentation skills and the capacity to influence key stakeholders to move initiatives forward.
  • Experience with thought leadership in applying data driven insights to have a tangible impact on business performance.
  • Experience creating annual business and investment plans.

gTech Ads is responsible for all support and media and technical services for customers big and small across our entire Ad products stack. We help our customers get the most out of our Ad and Publisher products and guide them when they need help. We provide a range of services from enabling better self help and in-product support, to providing better support through interactions, setting up accounts and implementing ad campaigns, and providing media solutions for customers business and marketing needs and providing complex technical and measurement solutions along with consultative support for our large customers. These solutions range from bespoke and customized ones for our customers to scalable support for millions of customers worldwide. Based on the evolving needs of our ads customers, we partner with Sales, Product and Engineering teams within Google to develop better solutions, tools, and services to improve our products and enhance our client experience. As a cross-functional and global team, we ensure our customers get the best return on investment with Google and we remain a trusted partner.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of product specialists on Search - Lead Generation (Lead Gen) responsible for driving the strategy to help advertisers meet their business objectives.
  • Set the direction, enable flawless execution and drive Product Adoption and Growth for the business.
  • Inspire each team member to perform while helping them identify opportunities to grow and stretch.
  • Coach the team and demonstrate both expansive and reductive thinking as needed. Provide mentorship, meaningful career evaluations and facilitate professional development plans. Invest in your own product and market expertise in the constantly changing Media landscape.
  • Drive a dual focus on fostering a customer-centric culture and building commercial muscle within the team to help deliver business growth through either bespoke or scaled work, in close partnership with Regional gTech Ads and Sales.
