Administrative Business Partner, Marketing (Japanese, English)

Minimum qualifications:

  • 3 years of administrative experience in a high-tech or international environment working on core administrative tasks (e.g., travel management, expense reports, calendar management, facilities coordination, etc.).
  • Ability to communicate in Japanese and English fluently to interact with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 6 years of administrative experience supporting executive-level management in a corporate environment, and managing small-scale projects and events from pre-planning to execution.
  • Administrative experience supporting executive-level management or multiple Senior Directors simultaneously in a corporate environment.
  • Excellent project and event management skills, with the ability to lead small-scale initiatives and team offsites from pre-planning to execution.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with a track record of fostering collaboration across multidisciplinary, cross-functional teams.
  • High level of adaptability to navigate ambiguity, exercise excellent independent judgment, and maintain the highest standards of confidentiality.

As an Administrative Business Partner, you're at the heart of your team's business operations and activities and the soul that keeps your team moving forward. You anticipate the needs of your managers and team members and help them stay focused on their projects by resolving operational and administrative issues before they arise. You move quickly with the changing environment and are up to date with the latest Google products and services. You also use that knowledge to strategically support your team's projects. In addition to being organized and analytical, you possess the strong business judgment and communication skills needed to interact with a variety of people and job functions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage complex calendars and administrative tasks such as travel management, expense reports, and facilities coordination with minimal guidance.
  • Support team operations and strategic projects by using excellent judgment and discretion, leveraging a strong understanding of the business to ensure a positive impact on scheduling and prioritization.
  • Build trusted, collaborative relationships and rapport with internal and cross-functional partners across Ads, Brand and Reputation, and
    Partners & Devices (P&D) Marketing by utilizing the communication skills.
  • Manage sensitive information with the highest standards of Google confidentiality and maintain an advanced understanding of Google policies and procedures.
  • Help drive impactful team events, foster a collaborative team culture, and engage in community contributions to improve and sustain team culture and operations, helping to make Google a better place to work.
