Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in product management, shipping software-hardware integrations or consumer technology products.
  • 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc).
  • Experience working directly with external partners and cross-functional teams (legal, business development, product, and engineering).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
  • Experience in ad tech, attribution modeling, mobile app install campaigns, or smart TV operating systems.
  • Experience launching consumer technology products or partnerships in international markets (specifically APAC, Europe, or LATAM).
  • Strong analytical background with experience defining telemetry, metrics, and business reporting dashboards.
  • Outstanding communication skills and the ability to negotiate complex product-legal requirements.

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

In this role, you will own two critical programs at the intersection of Google TV (GTV) distribution, advertising technology (ad tech), and international expansion.

As a part of the App Placement Program, you will build the reporting and attribution products that demonstrate the value of GTV's premium surfaces such as Masthead ads and physical Remote Control Unit button) to video streaming service and social media platform.

As a part of the Global Access Program (Ex-US FAST), you will lead GTV's business generation expansion outside the US by partnering with international Free Ad-Supported TV (FAST) services.Google TV is redefining the TV experience to make it highly personalized, Google-smart, and content-forward to help users access the world’s media. Through recent launches like Chromecast with Google TV, we bring together the best of Google. Google TV is focused on scaling across the OEM ecosystem; working closely with third-party streaming partners plus many teams across Google (for example: Ads, Play, and YouTube); and building a business on TV platforms, OTT devices, and mobile devices. With millions of active users of our products plus being amidst the quickly evolving media and entertainment industry, there are plenty of opportunities for the team and individuals in it.Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $163000 - $237000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Author Product Requirements Document (PRDs) for unified performance reporting, establishing standardized attribution models for app installs and user engagement.
  • Manage product requirements for international FAST partnerships, including remote control button remapping, pre-install configurations, and legal compliance.
  • Partner with UX and engineering to enable partner content ingestion.
  • Collaborate with GTV platform engineering teams to scope, resource, and deliver features on schedule.
