Strategic Partner Manager, Google Store

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in partner management, business development, management consulting, or corporate sales.
  • 4 years of experience within the Indian e-commerce, digital retail, direct-to-consumer, or marketplace ecosystem.
  • Experience in initiating, negotiating, structuring, and facilitating commercial agreements and partnerships.
  • Experience collaborating with executives (C-level/VP), and across cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Legal, Operations, Marketing).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Deep knowledge of the India commerce landscape, including consumer tech trends, omnichannel retail, payment ecosystems, and digital infrastructure.
  • Proven ability to build data-driven partnership growth strategies, financial models, and multi-quarter joint business plans.
  • Exceptional communication and executive presence, with a proven ability to influence senior stakeholders across matrixed global organizations.
  • Strong product and technical fluency with e-commerce systems (APIs, catalog integrations, merchant feeds, and order management platforms).

About the job

As the eCommerce Strategic Partner Manager for Google Store India, you will be responsible for driving commercial growth, business attainment, and market expansion for Google’s first-party (1P) hardware and services store in India. You will manage direct-to-consumer (D2C) sales performance across the Pixel ecosystem (Pixel phones, Pixel Watch, Pixel Buds, Nest, and accessories), designing promotional strategies, optimizing affordability and conversion mechanics (financing, trade-in/exchange, EMI), and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders across APAC and global teams.

This team will maximize first-party hardware device and service sales while delivering exceptional eCommerce and retail experiences for customers to discover, purchase, and enjoy Google-built products. We provide customers with the direct channel to explore and purchase the full ecosystem of Pixel, Nest, Fitbit, and Google subscription services. We also create seamless discovery, trade-in, financing, onboarding, and customer care experiences, and position the Google Store as the benchmark for how Google hardware, AI, and software work together.

Responsibilities

  • Lead annual and quarterly sales planning, demand forecasting, and operational pipeline reviews.
  • Track business KPIs (conversion rate, AOV, attach rate, NPS, return/cancellation rates). Plan and execute commercial campaigns aligned with major local and global retail moments (e.g., New Product Introductions (NPI), Diwali, Google Birthday, summer/holiday sales).
  • Structure engaging trade-in/device exchange programs, bank/EMI financing offers, promotional bundles, channel merchandising and customer experience. Partner with merchandising and site operations to optimize customer journey, product discovery, and pricing parity.
  • Coordinate trade-in valuation mechanics, checkout conversion flows, payment partner integrations, and omnichannel and partner alignment. Coordinate go-to-market strategies with third-party retail and national distributor partners (e.g., Flipkart, Croma) to ensure healthy channel harmony and brand positioning.
  • Partner with supply chain, logistics and Merchant of Record (MoR) partners on inventory allocation, order fulfillment, and returns management.
