Video Sales Lead, YouTube DACH (German, English)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in digital media, sales, marketing, or product roles.
  • Experience working with digital organizations.
  • Experience identifying and recommending scalable solutions to improve customer strategy, and working with executive leadership.
  • Ability to communicate in German and English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience identifying and recommending ways to improve product and customer strategy.
  • In depth knowledge of the German media industry (e.g., TV, Social, etc.).
  • A solid understanding of Google video products and ad formats, targeting strategies and measurement systems across both YouTube and Google but also across the entire digital/social ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Drive YouTube business growth in the DACH region, focusing on video sales and driving incremental YouTube growth through excellence in solution pitching and planning.
  • Set up video strategy for priority clients and collaborate on video activation plans for industry teams to accelerate growth and address in-quarter and long-term video opportunities.
  • Pitch YouTube’s ad solutions to key video clients in close collaboration and alignment with industry sales and agency teams.
  • Initiate shifts of TV and social budgets via deep TV and video expertise, discuss at eye level with TV buyers, and social buyers, discuss annual video agreements, and develop close relationships with TV stakeholders.
  • Drive YouTube-related full-funnel business by creating sales collateral and narratives, identifying potential leads, delivering training, creating case studies, and sharing best practices while equipping and educating sales teams across Central Europe (CE).
