Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of industry experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, business development, or digital marketing, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience working with advertisers, agencies, or clients.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Portuguese fluently to engage with clients in the region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Proficient with advanced digital measurement frameworks, translating complex campaign analytics into clear business outcomes and highly actionable executive dashboards.
  • Expert in planning and executing campaigns across vertical video, branded content, and influencer marketing while bridging advertisers and creator agencies.
  • Possesses a deep understanding of the retail landscape, including electronic commerce, seasonal promotional cycles, shoppable video, and key performance indicators.
  • Skilled in brand advertising and content positioning, utilizing compelling storytelling to influence brand budgets and increase market share of attention.
  • Demonstrated success leading internal teams and building strong relationships across top media holding companies, independent agencies, and creator networks.

In this role, you will lead the commercialization and strategy of Google’s social formats within the Retail vertical. You will act as a strategic partner to account teams, transforming client business challenges into high-impact media solutions across vertical video, influencer collaborations, branded content, affiliate partnerships, and YouTube commerce. Serving as a crucial bridge between retail advertisers and creator agencies, this position influences account planning to embed social solutions into overall marketing agendas, ultimately expanding Google’s strategic presence and share of attention during key branding conversations.

Responsibilities

  • Create a strategic go-to-market plan for Google Social Formats specifically designed to engage retail advertisers. Collaborate across functional teams to drive incremental revenue and fuel client growth.
  • Lead technical and commercial positioning, bridging conversations between implementation specialists and C-suite stakeholders.
  • Design high-impact media solutions that empower retail brands to thrive in social and influencer marketing.
  • Implement rigorous measurement frameworks to demonstrate business impact and set industry standards.
  • Track and forecast sales pipeline, revenue attainment, and market opportunities with high accuracy.
